Today, I spent the first couple of hours finishing off the photoshop work for Pennine Socks,now the images are ready to be processed by Paul, the web designer.It will be good to see the images put into context and part of a functional website. This afternoon I started working up my ideas for Morgans'new website holding page. They have asked my design this page:to come up with a visual that portrays their personality and work. Its also their 5 year anniversary this year, this seems a good aspect to focus on, so many creative ways to take this theme. I began by taking some photographs, using relevant and suggestive objects to imply the message and tone that I am aiming to achieve. I started by taking the office' lovely wooden floor, perfect in colour and texture for an interesting background.
The team at work, Paul and Si the designers are currently working on a campaign for Dr Oertker food company, designing promotional material and point of sale designs. It was interesting to see how the client and the designers communicate, they contact one another frequently, updating on their progress, sometimes changes are made therefore the designer-unfortunately, has too re-work their designs to suit the clients specifications.
